‘At Five in the Afternoon’, Samira Makhmalbaf’s third feature film received the “Youths’ Cinema” Award in Singapore’s 17th International Silver Screen Film Festival.
‘At Five in the Afternoon’ had previously won the Special Jury Prize and the World Churches Grand Prize in the 2003 Cannes International Film Festival and the Golden Peacock Award as best film in the competition in the 34th International Film Festival of India. This is Samira’s 17th International prize.
Singapore’s Film festival is held April 5th to May 1st in Singapore.
