The short film The Chair directed by Mohsen Makhmalbaf, shot in India was selected for a showing in the opening of Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival in France.
This film is 35mm and 8 minutes long and it was shot in India. It is one of Mohsen Makhmalbaf’s recent two films that has not had public screening yet.
The film has a philosophical theme and it is about a man’s conversation with God.
Clermont-Ferrand, the most reputable short film festival in the world has selected 80 films for the main contest from among 3600 films.
This festival will be held from January 17 to February 4, 2006 and Mohsen Makhmalbaf will attend the festival as one of the International juries.
